Tech tip: Auto restart if Mac freezes

Although MAC OS X is one of the most stable operating systems available, depending on usage and heating issues, you might see your Mac stuck at a screen with no response from keyboard or mouse (system freeze).

The only way out is to reboot manually using the power key.

A simpler way around it is to go to System Preferences > Energy Saver and check on the box that reads "Restart automatically if the computer freezes".
